Musa Shannon was named Major League Soccer Player of the Month for
April, 1999, as selected by a media panel from the Professional Soccer
Reporters Association (PSRA). Shannon scored four goals in as many
games for the Mutiny during April, getting three of his tallies in a
reserve role. Musa has now moved From Maritimo in Portugal
To The Vancover Whitecaps F.C. Men's Team. This skillful forward
has also netted Goals for the Lone Star and is a threat every time his
is on the field. The 27-year old was with the Colorado Rapids of MLS
last season after earlier starring for the Tampa Bay Mutiny, as well
as Maritimo of the Portuguese First Division.
