… Forward Johnny Menyongar was invited to play for the Liberian
National Team in an April 22,2000 world cup elimination game
against Sudan in the African Nation’s Cup in Liberia. This is
Menyongar’s first appearance with the Liberian National Team.
Menyongar, led the A-League last season scoring 17 goals “It’s a very
proud moment for me to be able to represent my country in
international play,” said Menyongar. “This is what every soccer player
dreams of.”
