LISCR Forces Alliance to a Draw

In continuation of the Liberia Football Association (LFA) 2002-2003 national league, LISCR FC yesterday forced Alliance FC to a 1-1 draw at the Antoinette Tubman Stadium.

The first half of the duel ended scoreless. Michael Amakazee put Alliance ahead after just nine minutes of the second half.

The lead short-lasted when Henry Gobah beautifully connected Hoff Fannoh to level the score line. The goal was Fannoh’s 12th of the season.

Thomas Kojo and Kumeh Swen were fined in midfield for LISCR, while Myers Roberts had a fine day.

Earlier, Christian Myers led Tito United to a 4-0 thrashing of World Girls in the female category.

The league continues today with three games. Watanga FC faces Karn United, Small Town engages Millennium Stars, while Monrovia Club Breweries goes against Mark Professionals.
