Phase Two of the Liberia Football
Association 2002-2003 national football league resumed Wednesday with LISCR
FC and ROZA going toe to toe at the Antoinette Tubman Stadium in Monrovia.
The match, which produced very little fireworks, saw ROZA (playing in blue
jerseys) forcing LISCR (in white) to a one-all draw.
LISCR marksman Henrique Gobah, whose uncanny ability to find
the back of his opponent's net has made him the second highest scorer in the
1st Division, came on target in the 39th minute with a well-placed shot for
the curtain raiser.
Alfred Kortu of ROZA found the equalizer in the 75th minute.

Earlier, Cardinals FC
whipped Zelor 1-0 in a second division duel. Cardinal's goal came in the
24th through a McGill Sundaygai header.
In the female division, Siahline forfeited to Pro Sisters by
failing to turn out for the encounter.
The league continues Friday with Defender Invaders going against
the Oil Boys of LPRC-Oilers.
Watanga FC and Small Town will clash in the Division Two,
while Antares and Earth Angels will lock boots in the female category.
