Kelvin Sebwe Congratulates Lone Star,
Others for Victory Over Niger

Liberia's midfield maestro Kelvin Sebwe,
who plies his football trade in the United Arabs Emirates (UAE), has
congratulated the National football team, the Lone Star for its recent
victory over the Mena of Niger.
In an email dispatch to journalists, the
experienced Lone Star's midfielder thank the Almigty God for giving Lone
Star the all important victory.
"I extends congratulations to the players,
technical staff, the Football Association Officials, Sports Administrators,
Journalists, the Government and the fans for earning three (3) vital points
on Saturday against the Mena of Niger. I think it is a good start and it
could get better if every hand gets on deck," Kelvin said.
Kelvin, who as captained the Lone Star on several
occasions could not come for the match against Niger due to his club's
failure to release him. He said had the FA mounted a little more pressure on
his team, he would have been released for the match. He said he looks
forward to future Lone Star games.
Commenting further, the seasoned midfielder
also congratulated debutante Alvin "Power" Kieh, who he noted is his cousin.
"Bravo to Alvin Kieh who made an impression in his debut match. He is my
cousin and I am proud of him," he disclosed.
Prior to the match on Saturday, Kelvin called on
Liberians to rally support for the players who had come to play against
Niger. "We Liberians must always encourage people who are called to serve
their country. Kelvin Sebwe or those who never went for the game do not
necessary have to be on the Lone Star before it wins. Those players who have
been selected for the Niger match should be encouraged," he told Liberians
prior to the game.
It is no surprise that Kelvin has congratulated
the Lone Star, the Government and People of Liberia for standing behind the
yougsters who brought proud to the nation on Saturday.
Kelvin Sebwe is one of the most exposed, matured
and intelligent footballers Liberian can boast off. He is also regarded by
Liberians as the next leader of the Lone Star.
In another development, Kelvin has disclosed that
his team won their match in The President Cup 9-0 away agaisnt a Second
Division side called Taawun FC. The match was played in RAS AL Keme.
He said the victory gives them 10 points behind Weah
and Debbah's Al Jazira with 12 points.
He also disclosed that the Championship starts
tomorrow, 17 October, where his team will be playing away to Al Jabbah in
Dubai.
