The dream of former Invincible Eleven (IE) life-wire, Josiah JB Seton, of winning the Malaysian Cup was not realized when his team Sahab FC was beaten 1-0 by Mass Sarr, Jr. Selangor FC.

Making the disclosure to our Sports Desk via telephone conversation, JB Seton said the full ninety minutes of play ended goalless. He stated that it was in extra time that a golden goal was scored by Selangor FC to lift the Malaysian Cup.

"The match was one of the best to played this season in Malaysia. The Malaysian Cup is reminiscent of the English FA Cup," JB pointed out.

Commenting on his own performance, the explosive winger-cum-striker said he did all he could but could not get a goal in that match. "I was disappointed that I did not score, but on a general note I played one of best matches that day."

Player Seton also commented on the performance of Mass Sarr, Jr. whose side won the Malaysian Cup. "Mass Sarr did well in the match. He played as a very good match."

Despite JB Seton not scoring in the Malaysian Cup final, he has scored a total of 26 goals in his first season. His team came third in the Malaysian Championship and reached the semi finals in the Malaysian FA Cup.

Meanwhile, Mass Sarr, Jr. celebrated his team triumph in the Malaysian Cup with pomp and pageantry. He and his colleagues celebrated all night following their victory over Seton's team.

In another development, player Seton is expected home in early December for vacation.
