The Lone Star of Liberia will this Saturday hosts Tunisia in continuation of the AFCON 2017 qualifiers having lost the first 2-1 away to Togo.

The match is crucial for the Lone star knowing that the North Africans also won their opening match with whooping 8 goals.

The visitors landed this evening with a 68 member delegation comprising 27 players, officials and several media practitioners.

For Liberia, 23 players including 14 foreign based are gearing up for the match. Omega Roberts and and Tunia Tisdell have pulled out, while local goolie Sampson Giddings also pulled out due to injury.

First choice goolie Nathaniel Sherman is automatically ruled out due to severe wounds he has sustained on of his face in an unfortunate accident yesterday at the camping site at Executive Lodge on the Roberts field highway.

Sherman, who is advised to seek further treatment in Ghana by doctors at the ELWA Hospital, is said to have accidentally bombed into a glass door whilst on a mobile phone.

Oldhand Saylee Swen of LPRC and LISCRE's Tommy Sango are the goolies left.

With these and many more, the media will have the opportunity to speak to the coaches of both teams: James Debbah, 47, and Polish Henryk Kasperczak,68, at 2pm at the LFA on Friday September 4.
