Sekou Jabateh Oliseh has arrived in Doha to finalise a deal with Al Gharafa Sports Club ahead of the new Qatar Stars League which is due to kick off September 11.

Team officials Fahad Al Yahri and Hussein Al Yahri were at the Hamad International Airport to welcome the player. Oliseh is scheduled for a medical before officially signing his new contract deal.

Oliseh is the fourth foreign player to join Al Gharafa and as per the QFA’s foreign players rule. He will be registered as an Asian professional player and will replace Australian Mark Bresciano.

Al Gharafa has completed their four foreign signings for the season. They have signed: Congolese striker Alain Dioko, Brazilian Anderson Martins and the Tunisian Yassine Chikhaoui.

Here comes another big news of Liberian player being signed. Well, how much is the contract worth? It's a shame that since Liberia started as a soccer nation, we have produced only one well known world player [GEORGE OPPONG WEAH]. Ask anyone around the world about Liberian soccer, the George Weah comes out immediately. Our players play "PROFESSIONAL SOCCER" ,but return home penniless.MY question here is: Are they really playing professional soccer? Or, exhibition for hand out.

Player like Jabateh, should negotiate a better and lucrative deal- retirement is eminent. Don't waste time playing for pennies. Most Liberian players, have not much income when retire, they waste their productive years showcasing around the world for hand out salaries. BE CAREFUL GUYS!

Jabateh is a good, and excellent player. I wonder how much will he be paid?
