Lonestar Coaches SPLIT!!!!
ahead of Liberia's decisive game...

Head Coach James Debbah and Dep head Coach Kelvin Sebwe on the line Against Tunisia at the ATS in Liberia

RCISPORTS understands that conflict is said to be creeping between Lonestar head coach James Salinsah Debbah and his deputy Kelvin Sebwe.

Since the commencement of the Lonestar preparations ahead of its last crucial fixture against Tunisia, Deputy Coach Sebwe is yet to visit any of the practices.

Our reporter who has been at the different training sessions added that despite the importance attached to this match, the deputy coach is yet to be seen at any of the flag bearer activities which have created concerns among the local contingent of players.

With just few hours to the team’s departure for Morocco couple with the invitation of 18 foreign based players, the two coaches might be reaching out for each other throat ahead of this decisive encounter on September 3rd.

However, when contacted on the matter, Lonestar coach James Salinsah Debbah confirmed the absence of his colleague but expressed shock over the situation.

Coach Debbah revealed while his deputy is yet to visit the team, he is yet to get reasons behind the unfortunate situation noting that he has no rift with any member of the national team whether player or member of the technical staff.

He asserted that while he information if true, he has no time to investigate the matter further due to the seriousness of the ongoing preparations which will determine the country’s fate.

In reaction, Deputy Coach Kelvin Sebwe has differed with the coach assertions adding that he was never aware of any plan earmarked by his boss as iahead of previous fixtures.

Deputy Coach Sebwe noted that unlike the past where the technical team met to discuss plans for the national team, he was never aware nor invited to any of the recent meetings regarding the Tunisia game which prompted his sabbatical.

He noted that until, he can be respected and notified on issues relating to the national team, he will neither travel nor participate in any of the team’s activities.

If this information is anything to go by, then Deputy Coach Kelvin Sebwe might likely not travel with the team which pundits believe might deepen the crisis between the two technical members.
