Weah Recommends Jebor To Moroccan Club?
By Roland MulbahCredible reports gathered by this paper say Liberian international and Lone Star hat trick hero, William Jebor, has joined Moroccan club, Wydad Casablanca on a year loan deal from Portuguese Rio Ave.
The striker, who helped the national team of Liberia, Lone Star to be at pole position in the group ‘A’ of the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier, spent last season on loan to Spanish second division club S.D. Ponferradina.
At S.D. Ponferradina, the striker flopped appallingly where he managed to score a single goal in 17 matches.
His only goal in the league was against Huesca and one in the Copa Del Rey against Eibar.
According to a high placed source, Jebor was recommended to the Moroccan club by African football legend and former World Player of the year George Weah who is now Senator in Liberia.
Wydad Casablanca team, commonly known as Wydad al Ouma is a Moroccan sports club based in Casablanca, Morocco, best known for its football Casablanca team.
The team is well known in Africa by its Fans called 'Winners'. The rival team Raja Casablanca makes the derby ‘casawi’ very popular.

Born in Monrovia, Jebor made his senior debut with Liberia Petroleum Refining Company Oilers in 2008, aged 17, after previously representing LISCR FC as a youth. In the 2009 summer, he moved abroad for the first time in his career, signing for Syrian Premier League side Taliya SC.
In 2010, Jebor switched teams and countries again, joining Egyptian Second Division club Tersana SC. After a short spell at El-Sharqeya lel-Dokhan, he moved to El-Geish SC in the Egyptian Premier League.
He made his debut for the club on 3 February 2013, starting in a 0–1 away loss against Ismaily SC, and scored his first goal for the club on 12 March, netting the first in a 2–1 home win against El Mokawloon SC.
He finished the campaign with ten goals, being tournament's top scorer; highlights included a hat-trick in a 3–2 home success over Ittihad El Shorta on 7 May.
In January 2014, the Liberian striker switched clubs and countries again, after agreeing to a six-month loan deal with Libyan topflight outfit, Al-Ahli Tripoli SC. On August 5, he signed a four-year contract with Portuguese Primeira Liga side Rio Ave FC.
Jebor made his Primeira Liga debut on September 13, 2014, coming on as a second-half substitute for Renan Bressan in a 1–1 draw at Moreirense FC.
He scored his first goal for the club on April 30 of the following year, netting his team’s only in a 1–1 Taça de Portugal home draw against SC Braga.
On July 28, 2015, Jebor was loaned to SD Ponferradina in Spanish Segunda División, in a season-long deal.
Jebor made his debut for Liberia on March 26, 2011, starting in a 2–4 loss against Cape Verde. His first international goal came on June 14, 2015, in a 1–2 defeat in Togo.
On October 13, 2015, Jebor scored a hat-trick in a 3–1 win over Guinea-Bissau, after scoring a goal in the first leg in Monrovia.
On March 29, 2016, he scored another hat-trick against Djibouti in a CAF 2017 qualification match in Monrovia becoming the only Liberian senior national football team player to score a hat-trick more than once in an international tournament.
