BYC’s Saydee impresses on trial in Slovakia

Barrack Young Controllers skillful winger Prince Saydee has arrived in Slovakia on Wednesday, July 27 for his three weeks of trial. The wonder kid who received an invitation for a trial with SK Slovan Bratislava arrived at the Slovakia international airport Wednesday morning and had his first training session with Bratislava.

The top rated Slovakian club technical staff headed by Coach Nikodimos Papavasiliou seemed impressed with the 23 year old Liberian winger performance during his first session and feels he might be a great addition to their club if they signed Saydee.

During the attacker first training he scored a hat trick convincing the club that he can be a future star for them. His first goal was a great individual skill as he got pass three defenders before placing the ball at the back of the net. His second came into the training three minutes after his first with a header while his third was a close range shot that beat the first choice goal keeper of SK Slovan Bratislava who are currently participating in the Europa League.
”Nani,” the skillful BYC players have now attracted lots of friends on the team after just one training session due to his speed, good foot work, dribbling skills and his eye for goals.

Speaking to SKY Sports from Slovakia the wonder kid said he feel happy having a trial in Europe because it is his dream to played in that part of the world. “I will do my best to stay here by doing what best I know which is football, the players, technical staff and fans are wonderful and I hope to convinced them to be a part of SK Slovan Bratislava after my trial” said Prince. He added, “but I already miss my Liberian food.”

The skillful winger has been a BYC star player for the past four years, after been discovered & developed by the “Go Blue Boys” from the 3rd Division.

He is the club second highest goal scorer this season, behind LFA’s & BYC’s top goal netter Mark Paye. Sayee has scored nine goals, thirteen assists, creating four penalties for the “Go Blue Boys” this season who won the LFA 2015/2016 First Division Championship.

Prince is commonly called “Nani” because of his natural skill and speed he can play as both a winger and a central forward.

Meanwhile the agent who scouted Saydee has hinted BYC that Bratislava is already preparing a bid for the winger due to his performance thus far, it is believed that Saydee could be signed sooner than expected because players on the team are now pressuring the club to start possible transfer negotiations with BYC for the wonder kid.

According to the President of BYC Sekou Konneh after the three weeks of trial based on the performance of Saydee both clubs will start possible negotiations for a possible transfer of “Nani” to the top rated Slovakian club.

“This is the beginning of more players to benefit from our new arrangements with top clubs in Europe” said the BYC President. He noted that BYC has established several contacts in Europe for their players to showcase their talents, and Saydee is the first as there are other offers that the club is contemplating on England, Holland, France, Norway, Greece, and many other countries.
