Dirkir Glay joins Indonesian club

Former Gor Mahia defender Kohn Dirkir Glay has joined Indonesia Super League side Persatuan Sepak Bola Indonesia Balikpapan, commonly known as Persiba Balikpapan.
The Liberian international has been listed among the club’s new faces that holding a preseason camp in Yogyakarta – a city in the Indonesia Island of Java, ahead of taking part in the one week Governor’s Cup.
Other new players, as posted on Indonesia portal, Bola, include, goalkeeper Gery Mandaki, midfielder Eddie Foday and Bokai Eric.
Club Head Coach Eduard Tjong said he is using various preseason camps to ensure his players get in good time before the 2016 season, the club having retained only five players.
The 24-year-old Glay left Gor in June 2015 to try out with South African side Mpumalanga Black Aces, his deal fell through and returned to his homeland, Liberia.
He previously featured for Liberian FC Watanga FC in 2011 before joining Thika United and later Gor in January 2015.
