Grandpa Doe Dropped From Lone Star

By Roland Mulbah

Credible reports from Liberia’s Lone Star camp say Tunisia’s conqueror, Francis ‘Grandpa’ Forkey Doe has been dropped from the national team just hours ahead of the team’s trip to Guinea Bissau for the return leg of the 2018 World Cup qualifier.

Grandpa, who was part of the Lone Star 1-1 draw with Guinea Bissau for the first leg in Monrovia this week, will not make the return leg scheduled for Tuesday, October 13, 2015.

No reason has been given by the James Salinsa Debbah’s led technical staff for dropping the goal machine.
The reports say coach Debbah walked in the player’s room early this morning and informed him to leave the camp, while the team was preparing to pick-up for Bissau.

The latest report has reportedly broken the momentum in the camp of the Lone Star ahead of the crunch match.
