Substitute Laffor fires Sundowns to victory while Sam and Dioh taste defeat in Sweden

Despite unable to make coach Pitso Mosimane starting XI , South African base Liberia international Anthony Snothi Laffor continues to proved his worth and important to Mamelodi Sundowns despite been 30 years. The hard working attacker came from the bench to replace Zwane in the 64 minutes and scored in the stoppage time of the match to hand Sundowns an emphatic 3-2 victory over Ajax Cape Town. The goal was Snothi first of the season from four (4) league games while Sundowns moved up to the 7th place with seven (7) points from five games.
Still in South Africa, striker Kpah Sherman made his first start for Black Aces in the Primer Soccer League and helped them got all three points away at Golden Arrow. Though the front man failed to mark his name on the score sheet, but his assist for Zambian forward Mbesuma first goal was vital in the much needed win. The former YANGA striker was shown a yellow card in the 39th minutes before be substituted in the 64th minutes.
Aces victory away to Arrows keeps their fine start to the season on course as they now moved up to third on the table with 11 points, level on points with second place Platinum Stars and just a point behind league leaders Bidvest Wits.
In Sweden, both Dioh Williams and Sam Johnson had a bitter midweek after they both fell on the losing side.
Dioh who scored all two goals last weekend to give his club Gefle IF all three at home was unable to get a goal as his side went down 3-0 to Hammarby. The defeat keeps Gefle to 7th on the table with 32 points.
Defeat for Sam Johnson's Djurgården continues to flow as they were beaten 4-2 by Norrköping to concede their third straight defeat. Despite the defeat , Djurgården still remain sixth on the table with 40 points.
