Lone Star coach, James Salinsa Debbah has submitted a list of oversea based players, including PKNS forward, Patrick “Ronaldinho” Wleh to the Liberia Football Association for Liberia upcoming FIFA’s 2018 World Cup qualifier match with Guinea Bissau, a well-placed source at the football house has hinted.

The match is scheduled for October 8, 2015 at the Antoinette Tubman Stadium in Monrovia, and is the first leg preliminary round qualifier with the reverse fixture fixed for October 13 in Bissau.

The source who asked for anonymity did not say the number of foreign based invited but disclosed that Coach Debbah made few changes in the side that defeated the Carthage Eagles of Tunisia on September 5, at the ATS.

The Liberia international who plies his trade in Malaysia has finally received his call-up by Coach Debbah, haven been overlooked for Lone Star 2017 nations’ cup qualifiers with Togo and Tunisia.

Ronaldinho scored a spectacular goal for Malaysia All Star in the Asian state 1-1 off-season draw with Premiership giant, Liverpool.

The PNKS FC striker absence in Liberia national team has since sparked public row, with followers of the beautiful game in the country exhausting the coach to summon the striker for his next match.
However, the former Olympic Lyon and PSG player has repeatedly said, “Ronaldinho is a very good player and remains part of my rotational plan.”

Explaining reason for not inviting Ronaldinho for Tunisia tie, Debbah said it would be unnecessary to bring in seven strikers for a match.

Besides, Debbah who silenced his critics on September 8 bluntly stated that the former LISCR man did not fit into his game plan against the North African.

“Grandpa Doe and William Jebor played in North Africa [Egypt] before so they are more familiar with the North African pattern of football,” the Mighty Barrolle legend averred.

Sekou Jabateh, Herron Barrian, Sporo Somah, and Sekou Conneh have all been left out of Lone Star October 8 tie with Guinea-Bissau in Monrovia.

Grandpa Doe, who is currently in the country, is expected to join home based called up by the technical staff in training this week.
