THURSDAY, April 6, 2017: The Liberia Football Association and Belgian Club Anderlecht have discussed future collaboration for football development between both entities.

The discussion centered on player development and exchange of modern football practices between Anderlecht and the LFA.

The two entities reached the decision to collaborate following a meeting involving LFA Vice President for Administration Musa Shannon and the General Manager of Sports for Anderlecht   Herman Van Holsbeeck held in Brussels.

Liberia will receive an open invitation to train at the world class facilities of Anderlecht, according to LFA Vice President Shannon.

A member of the club’s scouting department is to shortly visit Liberia for an exploratory visit.

The Belgian club is excited that one of its former players James Salinsa Debbah is coach of the Liberian National Team.

Debbah played for the R.S.C. Anderlecht in 1997 making seven appearances for the club and scoring 2 goals.
