Four Liberia match officials led by Isaac Montgomery will this Tuesday depart Liberia for the North African State of Algeria.

The referees are Isaac Montgomery, Jerry Yekeh, Abraham Boye Fahnbulleh and Sekou Kanneh.

The quartet will handle the CAF Champions League round two first leg between Mouloudia Club D’ Alger of Algeria and DR Congo’s FC Renaissance on the weekend of March 10-12,2017.

Montgomery will be assisted by Abraham Fahnbulleh and Sekou Kanneh as assistant one and two.

Fahnbulleh and Kanneh were recently badged by the Liberia Football Referee Association (LIFRA) as FIFA Assistant referees.

They are expected to make their debut appearances on the international scene. Experience Jerry Yekeh will serve as fourth official.

Yekeh recently officiated the CAF Champions League paring between Wa All Stars of Ghana and Al Ahli Tripoli of Libya, the encounter which the Libyan won 3-1.

Cape Vert’s Joel Amarante Ramos Barros will serve as the Match Commissioner.

The assignment is his second biggest in recent time for the ‘golden boy’ referee (Montgomery).

In 2016, Montgomery handled an African Cup of Nations qualifying match between Mauritania and Gambia.
