Report emanating from the Antoinette Tubman Stadium has it that, a three-man high power Ministry of Youth and Sports delegation led by Assistant Sports Minister, Murvee Gray and some members of the General Service Agency were denied entry into the stadium.

Members of the delegation had gone at the ATS under the supervision of the Ministry of Youth and Sports (MYS) to inspect the condition of the stadium and onward do some maintenance works ahead of Monrovia Club Breweries and Barrack Young Controller international fixture this weekend.

Due to poor management by the LFA, Government has reached a decision to nullify a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Liberia Football Association (LFA) to reclaim the Antoinette Tubman Stadium (ATS).

The MOU was signed on July 15, 2010, permitting the LFA to manage, control and operate the ATS, which is owned by the government.
