Kollie Korvy uncertain over United’s future

The Liberia Football Association (LFA) current Best Coach contract with the Mountaineers has expired and he has remained tightlipped on his future with the Mount Barclay based Club.
Kollie Korvy said signing a new contract with Nimba United will be a difficult decision he will have to make, creating doubt over his prospect with the team.
It is no doubt that United will offered the former Ever Green and Andorance Head Coach a new deal, but he has told INSIGHT Sports that he is also looking out for new opportunities.
Korvy guided United to gain promotion to the First Division during the 2014-2015 League season and also helped the Club clinched their First ever Major trophy the same season.
United won the local league topflight crown for the first time in their five year history last season under the guidance of Korvy.
The Mountaineers finished third in this season league and were put out of the FA Cup by returning Mighty Barrolle who defeated them in the semifinal in post match penalty.
“As we speak I don’t have contract with Nimba United, I am now a free agent. My manager is negotiating with other clubs,”Korvy told Insight Sport Sunday following his side 1-0 defeat to LPRC Oilers.
Nimba United featured an under-strengthen team against the Oil Boys who were desperate to escape relegation.
He added: “I may remain with Nimba United if they offer me new contract, but it will be a difficult decision to take judging from what I have experienced with the club management in the past seasons. But it also depends on what they will offer, if I receive a better offer from elsewhere I will take it,”
Meanwhile Coach Korvy has expressed disappointment over his side failure to win any of the two trophies in the local league this season.
According to him, for United who were the defending champions of the league to finish third in the championship and also failed to win the Knockout was disappointing for the club and her supporters
