Lartey, Sumo Part Company with LISCR

Robert Lartey and his deputy, Samuel Sumo,are now former managers of Gardnersville-based, LISCR FC.
The two technicians on Monday, July 25, 2016 reached a mutual consent with officials of the ‘Shipping Boys’ and are now free to secure a job elsewhere.
As head Coach, Pella gave thanks and appreciation to the management of LISCR FC for “the good and bad times” they have had together.
After a wretched run of form, first division outfit LISCR FC resolved to make a change, two days to their FA Cup match with Holder FC.
LISCR FC suspended Coach Robert Lartey, alias ‘Coach Pella’ and his deputy Samuel Sumo due to their poor performance.
The Gardnersville-based club at the same time handed control to former Barrack Young Controller and NPA Anchor Coach, Abraham Sese.
Coach Pella was under pressure for a large portion of his debut campaign with the Gardnerville based club, and his suspension came following a 2-0 defeat to FC Fassell at the Antoinette Tubman Stadium on Sunday.
The weekend result left the ‘Shipping Boys’ with 13 points from 12 league matches.
Lartey's future appears uncertain, with Sese handed the wheels for the remainder of the season which saw LISCR end in fifth position with 27 points.
The two times ‘LFA’s Best Coach of the Year’ penned a two-year deal with LISCR FC on November 28, 2015; a month after he mutually parted company with his former employer, BYC.
