NPA Anchors, Mighty Barrolle Face-off in FA Cup Today

The ‘Port Boys’ of NPA Anchors will lock horns with Liberia’s only surviving traditional football club, Mighty Barrolle,today in the first showpiece at the Antoinette Tubman Stadium at 2:00pm.
The match is a round three fixture between the two as they meet for the first time in this league season.
Mighty Barrolle, the ‘Kanyan Pepper Boys’ and the ‘Port Boys’ got through to round three of the competition following the win from their respective pairings.
The Rollers qualified for round three with a 3-1post penalty to the Security Boys of Aries FC after the regular time ended goalless at the Antoinette Tubman Stadium in Central Monrovia.
Mighty Barrolle manager, J. Wilson Farley, will on Sunday line-up a squad comprising 18 men to battle NPA Anchors in the Liberia Football Association (LFA’s) second tier championship encounter.
The team is in high spirit.
The match which is expected to take place at the Antoinette Tubman Stadium will showcase Barrolle’s last squad that drew against Gradnersville FC goalless at the same venue.
The team’s line-up includes: Goalkeeper: Tito Wesseh 4-4-2 formation.
Defenders: Tanko George right back, Papie Joesph left back, Michael Jaesue, and Sam Peter.
Midfielders: Kelvin Barclay, Aloysius Diggs, Sam Tisdell, and Bob Zeo.
As for the forwards, the Coach will feature: Sam Johnson and James Konuwa.
The ‘Rollers’ have won eight Liberian FA Cup marking from 1974, 1978, 1981, 1983, 1984, 1985, 1986 and 1995.
