Kawkab Athletic Club Marrakech score two first half goals to secure them a comfortable lead over Liberia’s Barrack Young Controllers (BYC II) in the confederation of African Football Cup second preliminary Round at the 45.000 Capacity Stade de Marrakech Stadium in Morocco .

The Junior Go Blue Boys started the match hoping to secure a point away from home but that did not materialize.

Christian Doe had the first opportunity of the game after he receive a passed from Dennis Wesseh in the third minute but the attacker shot went over the Cross bar.

Few minutes later the Moroccans took control of the match playing lots of long balls which resulted into the first goal of the match with a Cross from the Left side of BYC defense that goal Keeper Allenton Sembeh punch out of the danger area but his defenders were nowhere to be seen as the unmarked Omar Mansouri placed the ball at the back of the net from close range to make it 1-0 to KACM.

With the game at 1-0 BYC Midfielders created opportunities for their Attackers as Randy Dukuly came close to getting the Equalizer in the 25th minute after his beautiful skill eliminated two defenders of KACM but his shot from twenty yards went off the Cross just by an inches. later in the 27th Minute Cyrus Harmon had a decent chance but his right foot shot was save by KACM keeper Mohamed Ozouka.

The home side came Close to getting the second goal of the match but they were denied by Solomon Yahweh who head the ball for a corner kick after Abdelouahed Chakhsi cross.

KACM defender Boubarkar Kouyate had a free header in the 40th minute but went out of the BYCII goal Post.

With a minute to the end of the first half Kawkab (planet) got their second goal which was seen as offside after Abdelouahed Chakhsi cross from the left fleck met Abedeliiah Amimi unmarked as he head in the ball at the back of BYC net to end the First half 2-0 to KACM.

Back from the Break BYC took complete Control of Possession as Dennis Wesseh Abraham Dougbeh were in total control of the midfield but Cyrus Harmon did not really performed in the international encounter like his older brother Van-Dave Harmon.

The Junior Go Blue Boys mounted lots of pressure on Marrakech forcing the home side to play majority of the Second half in their own half of the pitch.

Three minutes later Varney Dukuly came in for the Christian Doe to beef up his attack in getting a goal away from home. Dukuly who is one of the few experience players on the squad introduction brought extra flavor to the game.

Randy Dukuly who started the showpiece on the left Fleck was deployed as a central Striker after Terry Sackor came off for Sam Jackson.

74th minutes in the game Prince Kennedy decent cross met Randy Dukuly unmarked as the Hit man headed the ball over the bar.

Marrakech seal the win late in the 78 minutes after poor defending by Boimah Sonii who struggle to control the ball in his defense leavin Youssef Ayatiti to disposed him and connected his teammate Luiz Jeferson who score from in the eighteen yard box to end the game 3-0.

The return leg is slated for March 20th .
