BYC II players Vows to Defeat Marrakech

Players of Barrack Young have vowed to secure a victory away from home against their host Kawkab Athletic Club Marrakech of Morocco.
The Liberian FA Cup champions will face their North African counterparts away on Friday in the first leg of the Second Preliminary round of the Confederation of African Football Cup with the second leg next week in Monrovia.
BYCII who arrived Tuesday had their first practice session early Wednesday morning despite the Weather Condition.
The players after their first Training session on Wednesday pleaded with their officials to give them time to have a special meeting among themselves in an effort to express their personal feelings about the tricky encounter this Saturday.
The meeting which lasted for close to thirty (30) Minutes ended up with the youngsters encouraging themselves that they can pull a victory in Morocco.
Speaking during their separate Meeting Defender Solomon Yarweh called on his players to built self confidence.
“We can beat Marrakech if at all we are determine to do it so let’s have confidence in ourselves that they are not extra” Yarweh said to his teammates.
For his part the team’s Captain Alpha Jallon who is one of the long serving players on the team said “we came from Liberia not to just come and travel but to make an impact in Africa”.
According to Him Liberians will be happy upon their return if the result is good.
“Liberians back home will be surprise, but we will defeat Marrakech at home so we are ready to fight for this victory because it is what we came for here” Jallon added.
Just before the conclusion of the meeting the 19 players vowed that they will beat Marrakech this Saturday in the CAF Cup.
