By Augustus Audekina-Doe

After the CAF Champions League break, matchday five of the Liberia Football Association (LFA) national league kicks-off tomorrow, February 18, 2016 at different venues across the country in a re-adjusted fixture.

According to the new fixture, LISCR FC plays host to Holder FC at the Antoinette Tubman Stadium on Thursday.

Coach Robert Lartey alias Coach Pella will hope to overturn turbulent weeks of poor results when his side takes on the new boys who are yet to win a top flight match.

Actions return to the ATS on Saturday with Giant Killers Keitrace FC, who is in search of its first league win of the season knocking horns with FC Fassell in the day’s lone match.

The ‘Cow Boys’ are seated at the bottom of the League Table on two points after four round league matches – drawn two and lost two while the ‘Soccer Missionaries’ who are yet to lose a match this season shares top of the table with Barrack Young Controller on 10 points; BYC has a better goal difference.

This week big fixture comes on at the ATS on Sunday with Ma Watta Watanga FC taking on leader BYC.

There will also be several second division fixtures taking place at different venues across the country.

Small Town FC, one of the beneficiaries of the LFA clemency begins its league campaign against Nimba County based outfit Sidina FC in the day’s first match at the Nancy B. Doe stadium, in Kakata.

The day’s second match in Kakata will witness Mighty Blue Angel, who also joined the league on the back of three-point deduction against Mighty Barrolle.

Monrovia Club Breweries and BYC II will face off in at the Blue Field, while league leader Gardnersville FC will play host to FairPlay FC at the Unification Town field in Margibi County.

In other second division fixtures, Mighty Blue Angel will play host to New Hope FC at the Unification town Soccer pitch in Margibi County.
