Mighty Barrolle President Resigns!
(FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE, Jan 8, 2016) -The President of Barrolle Sports Association (BSA), Madam Julia Duncan- Cassell has resigned her post. In a communication to the Board of Directors, the former President said her decision was based on her current unprecedented and increasing role required to coordinate programs and activities at the Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection, where she serves as Minister.
Madam Duncan-Cassell in her resignation letter said she enjoyed the hospitality and corporation of all members and fans, noting that she will forever remain grateful as she moves forward towards her future career.
Recounting her achievements, the former president named the securing of office space, exposure of players to international encounters, as well as reawakening the spirit of supporters in the United States among others. The former president in her communication applauded the invaluable services, advice and encouragement proffered by the Board of Directors including fans/supporters and sympathizers; and hope that such continues aimed at moving the club forward.
The former President, Madam Julia Duncan Cassell also thanked supporters for all the support received during her tenure but made specific reference to; Cllr. Theophilus Gould, Cllr. N. Oswald Tweh, Madam Medina Wesseh, Mr. Emmanuel Shaw, Associate Justice Kabineh Ja'neh, Associate Justice Sie-A- Nyene Youh, and Associate Justice Jamesetta Howard-Wolokollie as permanent and dependable fans who stood by her in supporting the club during her tenure as president of the Barrolle Sports Association (BSA). She added that their support will forever be remembered.
Meanwhile, the Board of Directors has accepted the resignation of its former president and described her tenure as rewarding and historic. The board further described her as a true leader who strived for excellence during her tenure adding that her presence will be missed by all fans and supporters.
