LFA Appoints Horatio Bobby Willie as Communications Consultant

The President of the Liberia Football Association (LFA), Musa Bility, today appointed Horatio Bobby Willie as the LFA’s Communications Consultant. Willie will oversee day-to-day football media relations efforts, game day media operations and local, national and international media outreach.
Willie joins the Liberia Football Association from Liberia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs where he was Assistant Minister of Public Affairs. While working at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Willie was responsible for public relations and ministerial communications.
Prior to joining the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Willie was the Director of Media Services at the Ministry of Finance where he was responsible for press announcements, story generation and media operations. He also worked as Economic Correspondent at Star Radio Liberia and he served as Vice President of the Sports Writers Association of Liberia (SWAL).
Willie earned a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in International Relations and Economics from the AME University and the University of Liberia, respectively.
He replaces Henry Boyd Flomo who recently resigned his post.
