New Hope FC In Division 2
The victory for division has excited the proprietress of the New Hope Elementary, Junior and Senior High School, Rev. Moth Louis Reeves. In assurance of support recently, Mr. Robert Sirleaf, the CEO of Barrack Young Controllers FC, informed Mother
Reeves of his support, due to the impressive determination of New Hope FC to beat all the odds in their way to qualify to play in the second division.
Mr. Sirleaf promised support to the team in their drive to reach the first division.
Mother Reeves said she is combining sports and secular education to get children from the streets and give them hope that they would never have, if intervention is not provided.
She said combining education and sports have brought hope for young men and women who have shown the eagerness to apply their talents to pursue the hope that comes from Christ Jesus.
New Hope FC suffered relegation and despite unfriendly experiences, including relations in its domiciled area, bounced back with a purpose to eventually reclaim their proper place.
New Hope FC striker David Paye reportedly scored 16 goals. In fact 8 of the team’s players are members of the Grand Bassa County soccer team.
