Sholee Deco, as commonly been called, has been tipped with a move to the Mountaineers, as the club prepares for the Confederation of Africa Football (CAF) competition slated for 2016.

IE’s Acting President, Alfred Sayon disclosed Monday, that the management of Nimba United has shown interest in signing the youthful player.

To achieve this, the Sayon stated that a communication is currently before the desk of the management team of Nimba United for the team to consider the player.

According to Sayon, it is uncertain as to whether the player will sign on loan or permanently.

Sayon said he is open to Nimba United on Deco’s move.

Already, the Northern Liberia’s out-fit has opened doors to signing on loan potential players who played in the just ended Liberia Football Association (LFA) league.

The Mountaineers want to strengthen their squad ahead of the kickoff of the CAF Champions League; therefore the team’s management has provided a loan offer to former league contenders who are willing to comply.

The Liberia Football Association champions, Nimba United FC needs to prepare for the CAF’s Championship next year and so it is important to have the team beefed up, an official of the team noted.

The club official emphasized it can only be achieved if clubs loan some of their top players for the period of the CAF competitions League.

And if Deco moves to Nimba United FC, the signing is in fulfillment of the Club plans on inviting additional players to beef up the squad.

“Sholee Deco” in IE records, put pen to paper after spending close to three seasons at the Second Division Club.

The winger agreed to a three-year deal with Liberia Darling Club Invincible Eleven (IE) and had spent two seasons with the Yellow Boys.

The promising young winger also joined ELWA United on loan from LISCR FC where he found playing time difficult in 2011 and made his stay at permanent in 2012.

Quaye who is one of the top-rated young players in the country is realizing his dream of playing at the top level of Liberian Football after failing to do so at LISCR FC.

The determined Nimba United was crowned champions of the first division of the Liberia Football Association.

The red and white outfit achieved the feat after a deserving 3-2 penalty shootout against LISCF FC at the Antoinette Tubman Stadium (ATS) in Central Monrovia with regular time ending goalless.

Nimba United is representing Liberia in the Confederation of African Football (CAF) Champions League.
