Nimba United Hires Ben Seedee as Technical Director

Ahead of the 2016 CAF Champions League, Benjamin Seedee has entered into a competitive coaching contract with Liberia Football Association (LFA’s) 2014-2015 Champions, Nimba United Football Club.
The former Mighty Barolle Head Coach on Tuesday, October 27, 2015 signed a two year deal with the Mountaineers.
The contract will cover the period of the Liberia Football Association (LFA) 2015-2016 and 2016-2017 League Season, until the local football house closes the league.
Coach Seedee, according to the contract, has been charged with the responsibility as a “Technical Director” for the Nimba County side, as the club prepares for the CAF Champions League next year.
Seedee’s deal comes in fulfillment of the Liberia Football Association (LFA’s) Club Licensing requirement imposed on football clubs in the country.
According to the new regulations, every club, mainly those in the top tier Division must have a technical director who must be a least a high school graduate.
Having penned the deal, Coach Seedee believes that with his level of professionalism and qualification, he will contribute immensely to the uplifting of Nimba United.
“I’m grateful to the CEO of Nimba United Football Club for taking out time to invite me to a meeting, which puts me in a position as “Technical Director,” he said.
The CAF License “A” coach considered the deal has a great challenge, but hopes to use his expertise in improving the standards and qualities of Liberian football, most especially at Nimba United FC.
While he stays at the Northern Liberia’s Club, Seedee hopes to have a cordial working relationship with the management of Nimba United, when it comes to football.
He is looking forward for unique interactions with the technical staff as they strive to lift football to ahigh standard at the club.
He graded Nimba United has a good playing team owing to the fact that the Club clinched the 2014-2015 LFA national league title and with the enthusiasms of representing Liberia at the CAF Champions League this year.
The management of the LFA Champions has mandated Coach Seedee to participate in all training session and be a part of the Club’s events.
In terms of conflict in the Club, the Technical Director Seedee has been mandated to work with the team members to arrive at an appropriate solution.
The contract also mandated the Technical Director to attend all coaches meetings, seminars, clinics and tryout which are established by the Nimba United Football Club.
The Contract unveiled that it is the obligation of the Technical Director to advise the management of Nimba United FC if an event cannot be attended.
The Technical Director is also responsible for the action of the assistant coach, fan club, and team players, prior to, during and after each game, practice and club events, among others.
