Some argues that he’s the next King George Weah whilst
others say he might be more than the 1995 World Footballer
of the year and Africa’s most successful player ever.
But whatever the arguments are, what remains positive
is that Francis Grandpa Doe is an up-to-the-minute
player and is glomming with prospects.
As an outstanding and well-placed striker with
ingenuous attacking and dribbling ability, Francis Grandpa Doe is certified
with scoring classical goals.
With all the attributes of a top striker, the creative
Liberian striker is swift on the ground, physically powerful in the air, and
blessed with two high-quality feet.
In addition, he cuts an admired stature that puts him
at an advantage of his pursuers. And at Tonnerre Klara Club of Yaounde a
club that he joined from FC Buduburam of Ghana in 2002, he gleamed as the
club most gifted talents in more than ten seasons.
Acknowledged as the golden boy of all the clubs that he has played for, he
started out as a teenage attacker playing with Shoes FC of the Liberian
Refugee Camp in Ghana where he fittingly stomped his football talents whilst
budding up.
On his top-flight debut at the tender age of 17 with Tonnerre KC in the 2002
Cameroonian League season, he gave a clearer indication of things to come as
he netted twice against rival side Canon de Yaounde. Doe also scored six
goals in nine matches played for Tonnerre KC in the 2002 Cameroonian League.
He is certainly a big-match performer, and confirmed that with a lone strike
against Satellite FC of Ivory Coast in the Semi final First Leg of the CAF
Cup Competition. Tonnerre KC went on to making the Grand Final though bowed
out 1-2 two weeks later.
At this moment, the hunt for the debonair Liberian attacker has become so
immeasurable as top clubs chiefly from France are closing in to secure his
transfer.

This it takes to be a good player for a big
team. The like of Francis Doe has shown how determined he is to take the
mantle laid down by his mentors and seniors.
