Fallah Johnson Signs One-Year Deal, Joins Persita Tangarang

One of Liberia's finest defenders Fallah Johnson has signed his first professional soccer contract in the Asian Nation of Indonesia.

Making the disclosure in a telephone interview from his base in the state of Persita on Tuesday, Johnson said he signed a one-year deal with Indonesian First Division Club side Persita Tangarang.

The deal a very lucrative one, he said also include a furnished apartment and a car.

This means that Fallah Johnson will be teaming up with fellow Liberian Anthony Bala who has been featuring for Persita Tangarang for the last two seasons.

Persita Tangarang is the current runner-up and cup holders of the Indonesian League.

The club is scheduled to travel to Thailand in three weeks' time to honor an Asian Confederation Cup match against a club from Thailand.

Fallah Johnson joined the Liberian National Soccer team in 1994 and has played in two African Nations Cup finals.
