Zizi on the Comeback Trail

After playing just four minutes in the first six games of the 2004 season, 2003 Liberian Player of the Year Zizi Roberts is now on the cusp of making a return to action. Roberts, whose only appearance of the season came as a late substitute in the home opener against Los Angeles, has trained with the club all week and has been upgraded to “Doubtful” on the Rapids’ injury list. Last year, Roberts finished fifth on the Rapids in scoring with five goals for 10 points in 12 games.
