Zizi Roberts To
Face The Knife

By Julu M. Johnson, Jr.
The Lone Star striker and defender
Zizi Roberts is on the verge of undergoing a medical operation in
the United States of America.
According to a local manager in Monrovia,
the player will after the operation temporarily quit the game for
three to four months.
It was disclosed that the player has been nursing
a leg injury even at the time he was demanding his plane ticket for
the Lone Star's match with the Eagles of Mali on June 6, 2004 in
Monrovia.
At the time, reports added, the player was
already granted fit by doctors of his club US Major League club
Colorado Rapids. The injury flared up during his last game.
Roberts is among twelve foreign based players,
including four from the United States, that have been invited in
Monrovia to face Togo in the round of matches in the 2006 African
Cup of Nations and World Cup qualifiers by head coach Kadallah
Kromah.
