Diminutive Liberian forward, Zah Rahan Krangar, who plays for Indonesian premier club, Sriwijaya FC says he is ready to lead his side attack in collecting the maximum three points on November 21 against another premier club, Persitara as Djarum Indonesian Super-League continues.

Sriwijaya FC has played two matches so far in the top flight with a draw and a loss after the skillful Liberian International pulled a magical goal in the club’s first match which ended 1-1.

Zah believes the match against Persitara this Saturday will put his team, Sriwijaya FC to winning way and on course for silver wear in the Djarum Indonesian Super-League.

“We are going for a win and I am sure of rattling the net,” Zah noted.

Brief History of Sriwijaya FC

Sriwijaya Football Club, who is commonly referred to simply as Sriwijaya, is an Indonesian football club based in Palembang, Province of South Sumatra, Indonesia. They are now playing in Djarum Indonesian Super-League.

Although being a football representative from the Province of South Sumatra, Sriwijaya was actually founded in Jakarta, the capital of Indonesia, as Persijatim Jakarta Timur in 1976. Because of some financial reasons, the club decided to move to Surakarta to become Solo Football Club. (Solo is the alternative name of Surakarta.) The financial condition, however, did not improve until the Province of South Sumatra bought the ownership of the team and renamed the team Sriwijaya.

The supporters of Sriwijaya are known as Sumselmania, who is a merger between two groups of fans, i.e. Sriwijaya Mania Sumsel (SMS) and Singa Mania.
