From his outstanding performance in the match against
Diamond FC of Sierra Leone and AFAD of Ivory Coast that
ended in a 1-1 draw in the preliminary round of the CAF
Champions League and 6-1 on aggregate, Liberia Fifa badged
referee, Jerry Yekeh has once again been qualified by the
Confederation of African Football (CAF) to take charge of
the first leg match between HeartLand of Nigeria and US
Bitam of Gabon.
Jerry Yekeh has been ably paired with three of his Liberian
Fifa badged referees to go into the match in Nigeria on
Sunday. They are Elisha Johnson as Assistant Referee #1,
Joseph H. Hoff as Assistant Referee # 2 as well as Nylander
Christopher as Reserve Referee and a Commissioner, Al Hadj
Jawula coming from Ghana.
The four Liberian Referees were at their best time in the
second leg return match of the CAF Champion League in Sierra
Leone when they play against against Diamond FC of Sierra
Leone and AFAD of Ivory Coast.
According to the Liberia Football Referee Association (LIFRA)
Secretary General, Albert Sewn, the referees are expected to
depart the Country Friday, March 15, 2013 for Nigeria
capital, Abuja for their encounter.
Why in Abuja, the FIFRA SG disclosed that the four Liberia’s
Fifa badge referees will officiate the first leg match of
the CAF Champion league between HeartLand of Nigeria and US
Bitam of Gabon on Sunday, February 17, 2013.
