Weah, Eseubio To Grace HWC

       King Pele' and Eseubio

Two of the world's greatest footballers, George Weah of Liberia, and Eseubio, are expected to grace this year's Homeless World Cup (HWC) in Cape Town, South Africa.

According to a release from the competition organizers, Weah, Eseubio and a host of other former great athletes are said to be set to grace the competition. Weah, who became FIFA footballer of the year in 1995, is unarguably Africa's greatest footballer and his presence at the HWC in South Africa is being termed as a boost to the organizers.

Like Weah, the Mozambiquean-Portuguese legendary striker who made headways for his naturalized country at the 1966 World Cup, would serve as Ambassador for the social event. The one-time European best footballer, who, like Weah, has been greatly involved in changing the lives of mainly less fortunate people in their respective society, is expected to play a very significant role in changing the lives of players for the HWC in September.
