According to him, the elimination of Guinea and Algeria was a clear sign in dashing their Nigerian counterpart for this prestigious U-20 female competition in Russia.

The female football chairman further said that the girls are in high spirit and are certain of both legs against the Nigerian side.

He however used the occasion to commend President Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf for her moral support and both the House of Representatives and the Senate for pledging their support to pass a sports budget.
