USA-Invaders In Heart Trick Of Victories
April 10, 2006
First division out fit USA-Invaders are in pole position in the
current LFA first division campaign.
The Gardnersville based club is regarded as the team of the moment, as
they became the first team to win three matches in a row in the
current campaign.
After their 2-0 loss to Alliance FC in their opening fixture, the
youthful side which is being guarded by co-coaches William Pennoh and
Robert Tarplah, woke up from slumber in putting the defeat behind them
with a scintillating 3-2 ousting of the host Bassa Defenders in
Buchanan.
They then rallied brilliantly to nip the pre season favorites Gedi &
Sons 1-0. Still not been bothered by the nightmarish act of
complacency, they came from a goal down in their fourth match against
Blue Angels to tumble them 2-1.
Thanks to goals from the sublimely gifted Emmanuel Dee who put his
side back on level before Otis Wreyou, the striker who is popularly
known as Mutu restored parity for his side to wrap the maximum three
points.
They are now bracing themselves for the weighty test against
struggling Karn United on April 22, and observers say this would be a
cracker.
Their Administrative Manager Amos Doe believes they are going to take
each opponent as they come, while the club President Eric Doe believes
they still have a long way to go, but are however doing everything
administratively possible to ensure they come out high at the end of
the season.
With a playing style based on tactical attacking football, it's so far
so good for USA, and only destiny knows what the end would be for
them.
