USA Branch Gives to Barrolle

Liberia's Champion Club, Mighty Barrolle has received three sets of jerseys and two sets of footballs as well as other sporting equipment from the Rhode Island Chapter of the association in the United State of America (USA).

Making the presentation during weekend at the club's Clay Street Office, the head of Rhode Island Chapter, Clarence Brown praised the leadership and fans of the club home for the numerous strides they are making to maintain the moral of the team despite the many difficulties it faces.


Mr. Brown noted that his leadership has been working to ensure that the activities of the club in the United State America (USA) are coordinated to guarantee support for the club.

He however disclosed that some fans with ill intention are using the name of the club including for their selfish aims.

According to Mr. Brown, with the support of some well-meaning fans, including former JPC Director James Verdier his leadership has gone is making headway.

Responding Barrolle's Vice President for Technical Affairs, Mr. Josiah Johnson thanked Mr. Brown and the entire USA family for their interest in the club activities.


Mr. Johnson reminded their oversea fans of team's desire to participate in the forthcoming Confederation of African Football 2005 Champion League.

Because of the huge financial cost that is associated with the CAF championship, he therefore called on the USA-based fans to be a part of the endeavor.
