UNMIL Tournament
Reaches Crucial Stage

The Liberian Youth Network Peace and
Reconciliation Tournament, supported by the Public Information
Section of the United Nations Mission in Liberia (UNMIL) has moved
it semi finals to Monrovia.
The tournament has been taking place among
the four sectors of Liberia in Kakata, Margibi County, Tubmanburg,
Bomi County, Gbarnga, Bong County and Zwedru, Grand Gedeh County.
The grand finale will take place on Tuesday, September
21, at the Antoinette Tubman Stadium (ATS) in Monrovia. By then, the
United Nations Secretary General s Special Representative to
Liberia, Ambassador Jacques Paul Klein would take the kick off.
The month long Peace and Reconciliation
tournament is intended to foster the reintegration of ex-combatants
and community inhabitants.
