MONROVIA, Janaury --Officials of the Union of the Liberia Football Association Sub-Association/Sub-Committees (ULFASCOM), will meet Wednesday, January 25, 2006 to discuss the organization's representation at the Liberia Football Association (LFA) March National Congress in Kakata, Margibi County.

Speaking to journalist recently, the chairman of ULFASCOM, Mr. Ibrahim Sheriff, confirmed that his organization is doing everything possible to have strong, intelligent and responsible representatives on the executive committee of the LFA for the improvement and decentralization of sports in all the fifteen counties of Liberia.

Chairman Sheriff said that Wednesday’s meeting will take place at the ULFASCOM headquarters on Ashmun Street.

The local football governing house will meet this March to attend its congress that will culminate into election of its next corps of officials for four years.

The outgoing president of the LFA, Cllr. S. Izetta Wesley, is facing a stiff challenge from her vice president for operations, Siaka Sheriff, while the position for vice president for administration is all but set to go for a lone candidate so far, Pennue Bestman, who currently heads that area.
