Trio Declared Free

Three of Liberia's rising stars, Manju Freeman, Jesster
Payne and Bamekee Toure have been declared as free agents by
their clubs after their contracts expired. Manju who is
widely known as Bakayako for his clinical finishing in front
goal, spent three seasons with Exodus FC and also a member
of the national U-19 where he netted in an avalanche of
goals before leaving the country to seek pasture new.
According to sources at the Bushrod Island based club, the
gifted striker was quite a harder worker and a discipline
lad who contributed immensely towards the growth and
survival of the club. "The Liberia Football Association(LFA)
has already been informed through its secretariat of
Freeman's status and we wish him all the best as he strives
to be a professional player", a release from the club headed
by Ebenezer Barclay noted.
Like Freeman, Jesster who plied his trade with Caldwell
based outfit New Georgia Pirates and a member of the
national U-20 has also been declared free after ending his
two seasons with the ambitious club.
The intelligent danger man who is regarded as one of the
club's greatest players ever was released by the club as far
as documents are concerned with the football association
already been notified. "We wish to categorically state here
that one of our players, Jesster Payne has ended his stint
of two seasons at our club and we can now safely say he can
go as a free agent at any club of his choice", the club's
secretariat indicated via a communication.
Also, sensational LPRC Oilers through its chief scribe
George Pussah noted in a communication that player Bamekee
Toure, alias Pinto, a member of the national U-20 has ended
his stay with the club and is free to move to any club of
his choice. Reports filtering in the media in this part of
the world says the trio are in Asia and whether they are
attached to clubs or are on the verge of been attached is
what many are itching to know..
