Credible information reaching liberiansoccer.com has indicated that clubs in the top flight of Israeli football are scrambling for the signature of former Liberia Football Association (LFA) premier club, LISCR FC Captain, Gizzie Tucan Dorbor.

The Liberian International, who recently signed professional contract in Israel along with fellow former teammates George Baysah and Patrick Doeplah, continued to woe fans of that country football with superb contemporary football and vital goals to keep his team, Ironi Bat Yam in contention for the Israeli second division championship.

The resourceful left wing back, who made his international debut against the Eagles of Mali in the 2006 Nations Cup qualifiers in Bamako, was on target during the weekend when his side edged Hapoel Kfar Saba 3-1 Of fellow Liberians, George Baysah and Patrick Doeplah. The former Karn United integral member was a difficult opponent to get by as his intelligence and technique were nightmare for the opposing team. Tuccan scored the match winning goal in the closing moment of the duel that gained much momentum in many quarters of Isrtael.

Based on his fantastic form so far this season, Tucan as he is widely called, has won the hearts of some top rated clubs in Israel that are eager to launch a January bid for the super Liberian defender.

But while the praises and offers keep emerging, the player, who is on a season loan in that part of the world, believes he must not be complacent with his performance so far, but must work harder to ascend to the top.

“I am not complacent with the little performance. I want to keep focused in an attempt to get at the top one day. My agent and President have told me to keep the courage and wait for the right offer.

“My concentration now is to help my team, Ironi Bat Yam make progress in the current campaign,” the soft spoken no nonsense defender noted in a very relaxed mood.
