Three Liberian strikers were on target for Minnesota Thunder in the United Soccer League of the United States and Canada.

The three were Melvin Tarley, Leo Gibson and Aaron Paye.

The players scored in the Thunder’s impressive league opening win over the Seattle Sounders.

Minnesota Thunder beat Settle Sounders 4-0.

Melvin Tarley marked his return with a 14th minute strike.

It was followed another goal by new arrival Leo Gibson in the 15th minute.

The Young Leo Gibson got a loose ball and dribbled the Sounders goalkeeper before placing the ball in an empty net.

Aaron Paye scored the match winner in the 86th minute.

He scored from an excellent chip.

Reports say fans that saw the game in Seattle praised the Liberian trio for their excellent display.

The trio of Tarley, Paye and Gibson could prove well for Minnesota Thunder in their quest for qualification for Major League Soccer football.
