Before Monrovia, There was Christopolis, the ACS Christopolis

I am the Founder/President/CEO of the newly founded Division III team called ACS Christopolis. The team is still been organized and have played four test matches around Monrovia. ACSC comprises of Liberian youths between the ages of 17 and 19 with 20 being the maximum. So far, I have 25 youth players and have lost one out of the four All Star matches which displayed collection of both premiership and division one players. ACSC went down 4:3 out of four All Star Game played.

The news of ACS Christopolis, a division III team, defeating collection of top local base players has spread fast to my own astonishment. Gedi & Son, a premiership team have invited ACSC for a friendly. The first of the second test match staged with an organized division II team, Andora drew 2:2 on March 5th. My representative, Mr. Kartoe Gaye told me on March 8th that the ACSC also received an invitation from the County team of Bomi.

With the short blast of success, one might wondered why did I choose to begin from division III. Well, the answer to that is simple. The strengths of Lone Star lies in our youths. The football authority in Liberia is not making use of these kids. Instead, The FA invest in player between the ages of 25 and 35. Sounds to me like it is a bad news for our lone star. In due time, they will know that before Monrovia existed, there was Christopolis, the ACS Christopolis. Our color is the RED/WHITE/BLUE
