Three to miss Cameroon game

Defender Solomon Grimes out Because of Cards

The coach of the national team has disclosed that three key players would be out of the line up against Cameroon in June.

Coach Frank Jericho Nagbe said the three players would miss the game due to suspension.

Coach Nagbe named the players as Dioh Williams, Solomon Grimes and George Gebro.

He said he would replace the players with colleagues who are also high quality.

Coach Nagbe stated he would recall McColm Konah Cephas, Chris Gbandi and include for the first time Frank Jericho Nagbe, Jr.

The Lone Star coach has also criticized officials and fans that are blaming goalkeeper Louis Crayton for Liberia’s defeat against Cameroon.

He said Crayton is the best goalkeeper Liberia has now and would always include him on the squad.

Jericho Nagbe said Louis Crayton should not be held responsible for a game he performed well in.

He also disclosed that he might likely recall some players who are physical and in good condition for the two games in June.

Meanwhile, the head coach of the national team, the Lone Star says the lack of friendly matches is hampering the progress of the team.

Coach Frank Jericho Nagbe told Star Radio friendly matches were important to help him identify players that would make Liberia win matches.

Coach Nagbe said it was important for government to identify funding for Liberia to play one or two international games before June.

Bad news indeed, but the saddest thing is Jericho Nagbe's statement that "Louis Crayton is the best goalkeeper Liberia has now".... then Liberia must have the worst goalkeeepers in the world. Cause this guy sucks big time.

Except Gbandi (who will replace Solomon Grimes), Jericho should call up Willis Forko, to replace George Gebro.

If I was Jericho, I call MadJou Kieta to replace Dioh, Chris Gbandi to replace Gebro and Willis Forko to replace Grimmes.

I agreed with Weah fan. I saw the goals they score on Louis Crayton and it was quite disturbing. I totally disagreed with Jericho that Louis is the best goalie Liberia have at the moment. I think it is a big insult to Liberian soccer. Now I see why Crayton is third goalie for his team. This guy is a disappointment for me. Liberia can do better then that.

Those guys are too old and slow.  The couch intends to build a youthful team.
