once again JB showing why they call him Africa dust He should be seriously considered for the lone star. For strikers It has to come down to a choice between Laffor, Grandpa, Dioh, Jb, and Tondo and possibly kingston. Among these players, only Tondo is a natural striker. But they are all attacking players that can give the coach a lot of options. Congrats jb.

Man, that's a low-level league that Seton is vying in. Please, any good 12th Grader will make outstanding grades when given 6th Grade lessons. JB Seton is a good player and in order to set standards for his competition, the dude needs to get outt'a the Mid East and head to Midland Europe - that's where the ACTUAL GAME is played!

Liberiaboy I agree with u 100%. Seton need to get the hell out of that league and go to Europe for ACTIVE FOOTBALL. Not only Seton but much of our players that play in the mid-east need to move to some big league. It really hurt me to see no Liberian playing in the EPL.

First of all liberia is ranked too low in the worldto have players in the EPL. They won't qualify for work permit. Secondly, Anybody who has played football before knows that its better to have a player who is playing regularly in a "low" league thann to have european bench warmers or MLS no namers. Give me JOsiah SEaton any day over Melvin Tarley. Until we are able to get back our respect as a footballing nation, we should make do with the best available options we have. Through this our players will be able to get into big leagues. The best avalaible in my opinion are: (regardless of where they are playing now)
louis Crayton Ben Teekloh Josiah Seaton Johnny Mayongar
George Gebro Jimmy Dickson Eddie Kingston Esiah Benson
Varma Kpoto Dulee Johnson Anthony Laffor Francis Doe
Chris Gbandi Dioh Williams Isaac Tondo Oliver Makor
p.s. We do not have a standard league to produce players to any european league. Be practical and realistic

Ghana08sa2010 so what u are saying is that because Liberia is ranked low in the world so our players should go to lower leagues? i don't agree with u on this one. let go back to history, in the 90s when weah was playing in BIG LEAGUE was liberia ranked higher in the world? before anybody knew Trinidad and Tobago they had york playing for MAN UTD, hasselbaink playing for CHELSEA. was there country ranked higher in the world?
When i say Liberan should play in BIG leagues, i don't mean only the EPL but counties like France, Italy. Gremany, Holland, portugal and Greece but not in Asia or if they want Asia than they need to consider Japan because that is the only good leagues in Asia. I live in Ghana for 7 years and i noties that all the liberian that play football in Ghana end up in Europe. example Dioh Williams, Francis Doe, Anthony Laffor and have we wonder why? because in Ghana they encourage player to go to Europe.....This is what we need to tell our BOYS in Liberia, ENCOURAGE them to go to Europe not Asia or they can ever start in African league in counties like Ghana, South Africa, Cameroon which have better league than where Seaton is playing.
Let face it, ur country ranking don't have anything to do with the EPL. Brazil is first in the world but many play in the EPL?

samson2g2, no argument here. Go do your research. To qualify for a work permit in the EPL u need to either:
1. be from a country ranked in the top 50 in the world
2. play 80 percent of your country games in the last yr
3. Be under 23 yrs old and uncapped at the senior level for them to petition the FA to grant you a young player exemption permit.
4. OR have an EU passport
My argument is that Josiah deserves a place in the team based on his current form instead of those playing in the George Bush league.
The reason Ghana and Nigeria have players in europe is that they dominate at the youth level. Liberia has no youth teams. Get real and stop blaming the players. The reason Dulee them are in sweden is because they took part in a youth tournament. Until our FA start developing U17 and U 21 teams, Our players will get bread where they can find it. stop blaming them. BLAME YOUR FA

Good info ghaha08SA2010. Now I understand why Liberian are not flooding the European Leagues. We actually need to up-grade our world ranking, develope a youth program and become compelitive in international youth compitetion. By developing our youth will definitly improve our game and make us more compelitive. If we organize a good youth program now we could make the next world cup in South Africa and hopefully by that time we would have at least 15 players playing in Europe's League.
