This must be the year of the women in Liberia.  We have a woman President, Attorney General, Director of Police, President of the LFA and now the Liberian women are advancing in football.  I must congrtulate our women U-20 team for a job well done.  This is their first international game ever and they won away, hope they go all the way.  Check the CAF web-site and you will see the results of the women games played this weekend (look to the top of the screen, see the moving message) and yes, LIBERIA 3, ALGERIA 2, this is an away win for the girls.   GO GIRLS

am happy but not surprised. Talent is a gift from God, and when it comes to football i believe liberians are blessed. i have heard some of our players say that coaches can tell a liberian player from any othr player in Africa. Its the swagger and the chip we have on our shoulders. Do you guys see that in American sports? Its an attitude the permeates iinto our football culture. Go lady lone star!
