Are we ready for Cameroon?

It's less then three weeks before we face Cameroon and we have not named a team yet. Cameroon is rank number one in Africa at the moment and it seem like we are taking them lightly. We need to name the team now and send the players invitations so they can all meet in Liberia and have at least one solid week of pratice.

Oh I forgot, it's Liberia I'm talking about , the team that never have preparation and the LFA that always have no money!

We have so much good telent but poor management. The current Ministry of Sports administration is a lot better now, but the LFA is still zero.

Well, with luck we may upset Cameroon.

Good news, but there will be no Makor and Sebwe? Can somebody tell why? I know Jericho said he would prefer younger players for the fothcoming duel. But Kelvin and Makor are valuable veterans, I feel much "safer" when they play for Lone Star. And why is Ben Teekloh not on the list too?

Why all of our coaches refuse to give a chance to players like Samuel Wowoah (Cyprus), Manu Dagher (Holland), Abu Kanneh (Austria)... instead, Jericho has called up Eric Weeks from the Cameroonian league (recently played in the Liberian league). He really doesn't have International experience. Does coach Nagbe think that he knows the Cameroonian style of play or what?? I have nothing against this player, but I honestly think that the coach should have given a chance to some other European or US-based Liberians. I must say I am quite suprised.

I’m comfortable with the crops of players the couch selected.  Did you read the last player rating from the Liberia vs. Rwanda game?  According to that rating Makor and Sebwe did not perform well.  They were unusually slow and didn’t provide accurate, fast and effective passes to our strikers.  Dulle Johnson is one of the best midfielder in Europe at the moment so we can team him up with Lomell, Kranga and Lanford in the midfield.  As for the other players you asked about i.e. Wowoah, Dagher, and Kanneh I believe the reason the couch could not call them was either because they’re playing in lower divisions, are not first team players on their respective teams or are simply not known by the couch.  As for Eric Weeks, I believe he played in the Lone Star’s last match and did very well.  Weeks is a giant kid so his presence upfront alone with Doe and Dioh is an added advantage to our offense since we need goals.

My lineup:

Louis Crayton

Murphy Nagbe   Chris Gbandi             Jimmy Dickson             George Gebro

Anthony Laffor             James Koko Lomell                Dulle Johnson                        Zah Kranga

                        Francis Doe                  Dioh Williams

Weeks can be used to substitute Dioh with like 10 minutes to regulation.
