The future of LIberia football

i have been reading this post but nevr posted anything. This new forum is an opportunity for me to start out fresh. First i wanna say thanks to the guys who makes it possible to have a site we can call our own.

Now to the topic. It is true that Liberia do not have any players playing in the big leagues in europe. But in the 2002 world cup campaign, the bulk of our players were plying their trade in Greece ( not considered big league), the US and with Frank seaton, the Gulf. And George Weah's inspiration, we came within a point of qualifying. imagine what we can accomplish with a few more of our players playing regualar first team ball

where r the kids that went to mauritius?

Richard Kamara

esiah benson

dulee johnson

jimmy dickson

isaac tondo

nesta sandy

johnny mayongar

eddie kingston

anthony lanfor

ben teekloh

George Weah started something really good. i remember Lone star used to scrimmage Team Mauritius vs Team South Africa. And guess who always won..MAuritius. I saac Tondo And Eddie kingston and Dulle Johnson were too quick even for George Gebro and kpoto. The FA needs to build on past success. sorry for the long post

May I add that Ben Teekloh plays in Moldova for Nistru Otaci. He is supposed to move to Russian powerhouse CSKA Moscow in the summer.

Eddie Kingston has recently left Jamaica and will also wait for the summer to go to Europe to attend try outs with clubs in Greece (most probably). German side Wolfsburg are still interested in him, so a move to Germany is also possible for Eddie.

Hey guys, don't forget forget Dioh Williams and Francis Doe. They were not included in that George Weah's squad cos they were young and still unknown at the time. But they sure possess great quality, so we need them too, along with these names in the list.
